The Foundation
I was born in Denton, Texas, but my life was shaped in Ponder—a small country town where my family has lived for four generations. On our land there's a water well from 1867, from the Chisholm Trail era. It wasn't grand. It didn't market itself. It just gave what was needed, when it was needed. Standing beside that well, I learned that true value is doing the right thing, at the right time, for the right reasons.
I'm a business guy. I'm in the trenches. I've built and led organizations, coached entrepreneurs, earned a doctorate in organizational leadership, and helped scale $300M+ in monthly deal volume. I've also carried a scar I hid for 15 years—until I learned that the moment you stop hiding, people don't reject you; they connect with you. Own your scars and your stars.
